Image Indexing Survey
Posted: September 21, 2006 Filed under: Cataloging, Digital Imaging, Opportunities: Surveys and Studies | Tags: Cataloging 4 CommentsWe would like your help with a survey on the topic of image indexing. We would like to gain a better understanding of how subject knowledge and indexing experience affect image indexing. We are interested in your participation because of your educational background and, or your experience with visual materials.
Participation in the survey is anonymous and voluntary. You may refuse to participate or discontinue participation at any time. If you have any questions about the survey you are welcome to contact us kate.mccain@drexel.edu, or jeb56@drexel.edu at any time about the survey. You may also contact Drexel University’s IRB Office at 215 875-5849 or at research@drexel.edu.
The online survey, consisting of ten questions and viewing-indexing of eight images, should take less than 30 minutes of your time. Your assistance in providing invaluable information about this topic is much appreciated.

It might still be early, but I’d be interested in reading about the results of this survey.

I am in the process of doing preliminary analysis of the data these days. I should have results in a presentable form in the next few months.

Sorry it took me so long to get the research online, but dissertations can be a BIG distraction!
