The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill seeks an organized, collaborative, and collegial individual for the position of Digital Projects Librarian in the North Carolina Digital Heritage Center (http://digitalnc.org/).

Qualifications

Required:
ALA-accredited master’s degree in library or information science. Experience working on digital collections in a library, museum, or archival setting, including the description of materials using accepted metadata standards. Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, to successfully balance competing priorities, and to work with inflexible deadlines. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment. Successful experience managing complex projects and/or workflows. Demonstrated ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.

Preferred:
Experience working on multi-institution collaborative projects. Experience with the CONTENTdm digital collections management software. Knowledge of North Carolina history, literature, and culture.
