Job Posting: Visual Resources and Art Collection Curator, Goucher College (Baltimore, MD)

Goucher College, a selective liberal arts college located twenty minutes north of Baltimore, and the first college in the nation to require students to study abroad, invites applications for the part-time visual resources and art collection curator to manage and develop Goucher’s visual resources collection (including art and artifacts, slides, and digital images) under the direction of the Art and Art History Department and with the advice and consent of the College Art Committee.

Qualifications include a M. A. in Art History, Museum Studies, Library Science, or studies related to cultural sustainability with some background in art history, and at least one year of experience in a related position. Candidates who have bachelor’s degrees will be considered with additional work experience. Working knowledge in Past Perfect Database, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Office; expertise with flat bed and slide scanners; and excellent research and writing skills are required.
