Chapter News: ARLIS/SE Meeting November 21-22 in New OrleansPosted: September 3, 2013
Join us this November in New Orleans!
Complete program information for our ARLIS Southeast Chapter meeting in New Orleans November 21-22 is now posted on the ARLISSE website:
Our program committee was able to bring together a number of local institutions as collaborators, to showcase digitization projects that are making collections unique to New Orleans universally available. Special fun features include a walking tour of the French Quarter led by a local scholar & historian, a “jazz crawl” on Thursday night, a champagne reception courtesy of the New Orleans Museum of Art, and Friday night’s meet-up dinner at Café Degas (absinthe, anyone?).
Notice that all official business ends on Friday, leaving you to your own devices for a weekend of exploration and fun in a city like no other.
Everything you need to join us in New Orleans is on our conference website. Hotel information is on the last page of the conference program/schedule. Please mail your registration form (with payment by check) postmarked no later than November 1st:
We hope you’re as excited as we are at the prospect of New Orleans in November!
