The Art and Design collection is located on the first floor of the Gelman Library and supports the artistic and academic needs of the Corcoran School and the wider GW population. A key challenge for the position is to evaluate the relationship between the Corcoran School and the Art Department, and to develop a cohesive plan for their mutual needs. This is a newly created position that offers strong opportunities for leadership in developing the collections and services of a prominent art school within a major research university.
