The collections assistant will serve as an integral part of the Old Log Church Museum team. They will assist the executive director in a number of collections related tasks throughout the summer including environmental monitoring, integrated pest management, photographing museum objects, cataloguing, research, and record management. In addition they will serve as frontline staff responsible for delivering an excellent customer service experience. They will work with the Heritage Interpreter and Museum Attendant to greet visitors, orient them to the museum and conduct tours of the exhibit area.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Library & Archives Assistant to work alongside our Librarian and Archivists for 8 weeks, starting 2 July 2015 and finishing 27 August 2015, to help maintain ACCI’s standards according to our policies and procedures. The Library and Archives Assistant is a full-time, temporary position that reports to the Coordinator of Collections & Exhibitions. Their daily tasks are supervised by the Librarian and the Archivist. This position will assist with basic library and archive projects. The language of work is English. French is an asset. Any Cree language abilities are an asset but not required. Students from one of the 9 Cree communities of the Cree Nation are highly encouraged to apply. ACCI will try to assist with accommodation arrangements if required.
